The pretty market town of Wadebridge, set by the Camel river, is only a 10 minute drive away; with interesting independent shops, cinema and museum, there are also excellent cafes and restaurants. Rather than driving, catch the ferry across the estuary to Padstow - a bustling fishing harbour. From here, rent a bike and cycle along the Camel Trail to Wadebridge. Enjoy the changing view of water-skiers, sailing boats and water birds as you peddle along beside the beautiful Camel estuary.
